Dr. Gregory Bays Brown
Founder & Chief of Creative Services, RéVive Skincare
A Harvard-trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon, RéVive founder, Dr. Gregory Brown believes
women and men look their best when they have the glow of healthy, youthful skin. While running
a successful plastic surgery practice, he realized that many of his patients who were requesting
invasive cosmetic procedures actually needed to rejuvenate lackluster skin, and there was no
surgical procedure that could accomplish this goal. In 1997, he merged his three-dimensional
understanding of the skin with Nobel Prize-winning science to create RéVive, the first and only
skincare line created by a plastic surgeon.
Prior to founding RéVive, Dr. Brown dedicated much of his career to researching ways to
accelerate the healing of damaged skin in burn victims. Through his research, he discovered
the restorative benefits of a unique bio-engineered molecule that helped increase the healing
rate of burns. He soon discovered that this molecule could also rejuvenate healthy skin. Merging
biotechnology with beauty, he incorporated this revolutionary molecule into skincare and
witnessed how signs of aging were dramatically reduced and aging skin was visibly renewed and
revitalized. In 1997, after years of clinical research, the RéVive skincare line was born.
Over the years and still today, Dr. Brown continues his impassioned research to seek out the most
technologically advanced ingredients to create the world’s most scientifically innovative and
effective products. These ingredients selected by Dr. Brown make up RéVive ’s Renewal Epidermal
Science (RES) Technology, which includes patented and Nobel Prize winning ingredients to help
restore aging skin. RES Technology is the cornerstone of all RéVive products.
“There is nothing surgically that can do what RéVive does to give one the dewy glow and beautiful
skin of youth,” said Dr. Brown. “If used as a daily regimen, RéVive can delay plastic surgery
and will ultimately decrease the magnitude of any surgical procedure ever desired or needed.”
A Kentucky native, Dr. Brown graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisville, and
studied medicine at Vanderbilt and Harvard universities. He later became a fellow in Plastic and
Reconstructive Surgery at Emory University. His studies have been published in numerous medical
journals, and he is the author of About Face: A Plastic Surgeon's 4-Step Nonsurgical Program for
Younger, Beautiful Skin.
Today, Dr. Brown leads RéVive’s research and product development department, ensuring the company
stays at the cutting-edge of the skincare industry. An avid collector of contemporary art, Dr.
Brown lends his support to a wide range of charitable and cultural initiatives, including arts in
education and the cultivation of new and emerging artistic talent.
Dr. Brown resides in New York, but still maintains a horse farm in Kentucky.
